In today's world, we don't see a lot of close-knit families anymore and it breaks my heart that this close-knit family was judged due to it's non-traditionality. This family is one of a kind, not because there are two mothers, but because it's a family of unconditional love. But some of the other families don’t accept them. In their beautiful house, they cook dinner together, they laugh together, and they dance together. It breaks my heart that a family can be so loving and genuine and still be hated because of their differences. I really enjoyed this story it was just so sweet. Separately the characters would be considered flat because we didn't know much about them, but I think it's necessary that we only view them as a family since this story was telling the story of the family together.
